Sound baths

Lie down. Let the sound do the rest.

Sheep skins on the barn floor. Bowls, chimes and a drum. Horses breathing somewhere just behind you.

What happens

An hour of doing nothing at all

You lie down, covered and warm, and do nothing for an hour. Singing bowls, chimes and drum are played around and above you, and the sound is felt as much as heard — in the chest, the hands, the back of the mind.

Some people fall asleep. Some cry without quite knowing why. Most describe a kind of settling, as though something that had been braced for a long time has finally let go.

Full moon & new moon

Two gatherings each month

Group sound baths are held on the full moon and the new moon each month. The two have a different feeling, and people tend to know which one they need.

The full moon gathering is for release — the sound is fuller, and it suits anything you have been carrying and would like to set down. The new moon is quieter and more inward, a slow beginning: space to sit with what is only starting to take shape.

Upcoming sound baths

Gatherings around the full and new moon

Group sound baths are held on or near the full moon and new moon each month. Dates can be flexible, so please get in touch to find out what is coming up. Gatherings begin at 7:00pm in the barn and last around ninety minutes. To hold a place, send a note and I will reply with directions and what to bring.

Request a place

If a gathering is already full I will offer you the next one, or a private session at a time that suits.
